About Valrico
Valrico is an unincorporated community in eastern Hillsborough County, between Brandon to the west and Plant City to the east. About 37,900 people live here, and nearly 80% of homes are owner-occupied, according to the US Census. The area was once known as Long Pond; the 1915 James McCabe Theatre building still stands near SR 60.
Most homes went up between the late 1980s and the 2000s. The typical owner moved in around 2009 and the median home value is about $356,200. That's a lot of original roofs at the age where pipe boots, flashing and tile underlayment start to give out.
Main roads we're on every day
SR 60, Bloomingdale Avenue, Lithia Pinecrest Road, Bell Shoals Road and Miller Road.
Permits in Valrico
Because Valrico isn't a city, roofing permits go through Hillsborough County Development Services. We handle it when a job needs one.
